Aluminum or Bronze cast heaters are designed as per customer specification and are employed to plastic extraction machinery or extruder Barrels, & for die heating where uniform constant temp is required. Due to their high thermal capacitance these heaters maintain temperature within the range of +/-2 Degree Centigrade.
The probable watt density which range from 10 to 60 W/Sq in to the surface to be heated. The heater also have liquid cooling system/ or air cooling fins, enabling to work with the system requiring frequent heating & cooling the jobs.
These are generally used in extruders, compression moulding platens heat sealers, vacuum forming platens etc.
These can be manufactured to any diameter & length in two parts enclosing accurately the barrel to be heated.
